Mr. Cooke has held a series of senior management roles at
Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, NEC Computers and several early stage
companies.
Mr. Cooke is President and managing partner of Granite
Ventures, LLC, which provides hands-on implementation of corporate strategies
for early stage companies and those undergoing a significant change in
direction.
Since January 2002, Mr. Cooke has been President and CEO of
FDI Collateral Management, which provides electronic lien and titling and other
services for automotive lenders. Mr.
Cooke focused on productivity gains which have led to dramatic margin growth,
increasing customer satisfaction which resulted in retention of greater than
99.9%, and increasing revenue which has grown by more than 700%.
Mr. Cooke served as interim CEO for Global Digital
Technologies, which provides Internet Information Management software that
enables newspapers and other publishers to have an internet based capability
for receiving and managing advertisements. In this role, Mr. Cooke secured
strategic alliances necessary for the company to enter a rapid growth phase,
revamped the infrastructure, and positioned the company for a public offering.
Until early 2002, Mr. Cooke also served as Special Advisor to C-Technologies,
AB of Sweden, where he developed strategic relationships for the company's
innovative scanning and text processing technologies.
Mr. Cooke also served as President and CEO for CustomerLink
Systems, Inc., a provider of innovative Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
services to small and medium businesses.
While in this role, Mr. Cooke led the company through product
completion, private equity financing, securing strategic alliances and
implementation of the go-to-market strategy.
Mr. Cooke was President and COO of NEC Computers, Inc., in
Mountain View, California, where he led a financial turnaround for commercial
Personal Computers, notebook computers and network servers, and the development of highly
innovative commercial computing solutions.
As a part of the Apple Computer turnaround effort, Mr. Cooke
was recruited as Vice President of Global Customer Care, to develop a
worldclass “customer stewardship” capability.
During his 16 years at Hewlett Packard, Mr. Cooke led
several global businesses, including the company’s Global Procurement
Operations, Worldwide Service and Support for the company’s Personal Computer and printer businesses,
and Global Supply Chain for the company’s interconnect demand. He was also responsible for the supply chain
for the company’s North American Personal Computer and Network Server businesses.
